Activities

Awesome evening activities and daily games provide a new and crazy challenge every day. They strengthen friendships, promote teamwork, and build unity.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

PRAISE AND WORSHIP, GENESIS inspires and motivates teens to God-given ambassadorship (II Cor. 5:20) through small groups, Bible application classes, and through times of praise and worship. Peer feedback is essential for teenagers. Our overcomers groups are vital in helping teens work together to face and conquer their personal obstacles. These groups help establish peer accountability, and further ignite the teen's fire to make an impact on the world for Him! The goal is to launch teens into a personal mission of bringing hope to others.

EVENING EVENT

UNBOUND Don’t check out OC’s acting group, UNBOUND, expecting to see the typical 45-minute camp show. UNBOUND works hard to tailor performances to your youth event’s theme and communicate the message in creative ways. With hearts for God and working with students, the actors will capture the audience and enhance the dynamics of any event. All members of the group have “camp counselor personalities” … connecting with students through their performance ministry and through individual relationships they build offstage. Unbound would love to come to your camp, youth rally, or any other event to add a touch of fun and godly spirit. Click here to view more information.

CONCERT

Tquan Moore will be in concert

Singer/songwriter Tquan Moore has been writing music for over fifteen years. During 11 of those years, Tquan was a youth minister at West Houston church of Christ before God sent him in the direction of full-time Christian music. As the Youth Minister he was also a worship leader and many times was called on to speak. The preparation of these years of ministry have given Tquan a clarity in both the music he is creating and the ministry he feels called to in the body of Christ.

Tquan started performing Christian music in 2002 as a way to share with others, the music he had already shared with God. Tquan was lead singer and acoustic guitarist for Houston-based band, ‘Beckoned’. Out of 170 entries from 35 states and eight countries, Tquan, with Beckoned, was one of seven artists/bands invited to perform at a Christian music contest called ‘The Unveiling’.

Tquan’s heart is for the transformation of people’s lives through the power of Jesus Christ. Whatever context he gets to do that in be it through music, speaking, at a retreat/conference or chatting with someone over lunch, the transformation of peoples lives is what he believes God has called him to.
